EATING HEALTHY

In today's' fast paced life style, it sometimes can be hard to eat the right way.

Often, it is easier to go to a nearby fast food drive thru and eat on the run.

But with just a little preparation, we can eat healthy, and save the environment.

Packing lunch and snacks the night before in easy to carry containers is one of the easier ways and it also saves money!

Love salad and had it for dinner?  Make just a little more and take for lunch.  Instead of throwing away those little cups with the removable tops, same them.  These are great for putting your salad dressing in.

Leftover's?  Why not for lunch or used them to make a hearty soup.

I bought a lunch container which had a top compartment, where I kept my ice pack. I also got a steel thermos and some plastic utensils.

I would buy a six-pack of yogurt, jello, pudding, etc., sodas or tea in reusable bottles (for more soda or water) and come plastic containers.

You can pack your lunch after dinner, the put the icepack in, just before leaving for work.  Your lunch will stay cool and all you may have to do is warm up your soup or meal.

Some of the benefits, you don't have to go out in bad weather, fight traffic and lose your parking space and you have everything you enjoy, because you made it.
